The Product:
ShieldCote is a thick film, heavy duty, textured coating, designed for the protection and decoration of ll types of exterior surfaces.

Years of intensive experimentation and testing have eventually culminated in a coating composition that will give the very best results in every respect i.e. durability, protection and decoration effects.

Some of the main features of ShieldCote with Pliolite;

Because the coating is applied over a Pliolite based undercoat and not water based, penetration into a porous substrate is vastly improved and unsound substrates remedied.

ShieldCote provides the ultimate resistance to alkali attack. Alkalinity is present in all cementation substrates.

The coating is highly resistant to water penetration and can be scrubbed without any damage to the film.

It gives an extremely durable finish that will withstand the elements for many years. A properly formulated composition like ShieldCote has a minimum dirt collection for a textured finish. It never loses its flexibility and, although it is highly water resistant, it will still allow the substrate to breathe. Shield-Dry is Pliolite water repellent; it allows moisture to permeate it in one direction. Therefore water is allowed out but not in, this ensures that the wall remains dry.
